Maple City Custom Carts is owned and operated by a very talented father and son team, Darrin Kivell and his son, Matthew Kivell.
Darrin has been in the business of designing and manufacturing custom built pool tables with Maple City Billiards since 1987. By 1997 the pool table business expanded to a larger manufacturing and storage facility.
Through hard work and high quality products, Maple City Billiards was recognized with the Industry of the Month award in 2004 by the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
As busy as the industry kept him, Darrin needed something to keep him busier in the off season, from May to October, when everyone was hanging up their pool cues and moving to the outdoors to enjoy the warm weather.
In 2006 he founded Maple City Custom Carts. After 20 years, together Darrin and his son, Matthew are also now focusing their talents on customized golf carts. Matthew, having an incredible mechanical and electronic knowledge, along with Darrin’s years of experience as a business owner, make them a great team.
